Editor optimised for mobile devices

Hello everyone!

It’s been a while since our last blog update, but we haven’t been idle, on the contrary, we’ve worked hard to maintain and further improve monkkee and provide you with an even better user experience.

As more and more of you are accessing their journals from their tablets and smartphones, we’ve made some improvements to the editor. The toolbar is now optimised for use with mobile devices and can be minimised to allow for more writing space. This is an advantage especially on smaller screens.

In addition, you can now select the editing tools to be displayed in your toolbar by default. This can be specified separately for PCs and mobile devices. You can configure your preferences in the ‘Settings’ under ‘Editor’.

And we’ve added yet another useful feature: The editor can now be displayed in full-screen mode. If you are looking for a distraction-free writing environment without icons or menus, simply maximise your editor to make full use of the entire screen.

Further improvements will follow soon!
